The safety engineered sharps system is available in 3 sizes and various lid/body configurations to ensure compliance with disposal of sharps and pharmaceutical waste streams as laid out within HTM 0701 (safe management of healthcare waste). All sizes can be configured with a safety tray (for use within patient areas or an access plus unit that is designed for use outside of patient areas but where larger bulky items (such as IV bags, long instruments and guidewires require disposal). Detailed below are the model number and sizes :
• S14 – 6.5 litre usable capacity
• S22 – 14.5 litre usable capacity
• S32 – 23.5 litre usable capacity
