This study compares 8 hospitals and the impact Sharpsmart has had on sharps injuries.
This study compared the results of 28 hospitals, 14 of which converted to our reusable Sharpsmart sharps container, and 14 which did not. The original peer reviewed study was published in the American Journal of Infection Control, and this short summary provides the overview results of a dramatic reduction in sharps injuries for the group that converted from a disposable sharps container to the Sharpsmart reusable sharps container.
